Are You Going to See the Rose in the Vase, or the Dust on the Table
"Are You Going to See the Rose in the Vase, or the Dust on the Table"? It is a one-of-a-kind work of art manufactured by $uicideboy$. It sets the movement of very complex feelings and musings on human existence. The lyrics are very deep. They present a contradiction between beauty and what is not perfect. These words also ask how we see things with our own eyes. The music is very dark and intense, and the beats are very powerful and energetic, which creates a strong grip on the audience. It turns out that their unique style and delivery are highlighted in this song making it an outstanding one in their discography. Its mysterious atmosphere invites listeners to dive into its limitless universe and feel the unique energy and fullness of which its music consists. Altogether, This song is a rather important segment of their album New World Depression.
Lyrics
You don't get it (You did good $lick)
I'm just reckless with myself (It's a Smash)
Taking over, something only time will tell
Wetto, ayy
[Verse 1: Anthony Mars]
Already know what time I'm on, double R slidin' on audubon
She tryna get my love, the best I can do is a trauma bond
Poppin' these pills got easier, but gettin' high been gettin' harder
Remember them days in maw-maw's house, holdin' on my grandfather
Remember them days in the Envoy, it was just me and Oddy
Now all of my homies got their own bus, but they ain't got time for bondin'
Tellin' myself that it's okay, knowin' that's a liе
Ayy, never at home, just passin' by
I was always told that boys don't cry, why am I so brokе inside?
Waste time on an inner child, motherfucker been dead since five
Seen my dad OD at nine, was never the same again
I never had a chance to win
[Chorus: Anthony Mars & Norman Atomic]
I keep reachin' out for help
I can't tell if I'm too concerned with myself
Feel like I'm just collectin' dust on the shelf (Fuck it, fuck it)
I think it's time to bid farewell
[Verse 2: Norman Atomic]
Left all the lights on, but I ain't home, thirty thousand feet up
Got my ice on, but I ain't cold, thirty thousand degrees
Yup, I stashed thirty thousand in the freezer
Feel like a crooked congressman
I blame it on Percocet amnesia, can't keep up with my tolerance
I'm tryna win this war on drugs, but I lost the battle by callin' up the plug
Got back in the saddle
Moth to the flame, I'm insane, all these voices rattle
Foggin' up my brain, numb the pain, locked up in my castle
I'm startin' to unravel, surrounded by all these snakes and jackals
They keep temptin' me to eat the apple
I need to tie up loose ends, form these threads into a tassel
[Chorus: Anthony Mars & Norman Atomic]
I keep reachin' out for help
I can't tell if I'm too concerned with myself
Feel like I'm just collectin' dust on the shelf (Fuck it, fuck it)
I think it's time to bid farewell
I keep reachin' out for help
I can't tell if I'm too concerned with myself
Feel like I'm just collectin' dust on the shelf (Fuck it, fuck it)
I think it's time to bid farewell
Grey Day 2024 Lineup North America
Recently, Rap cousins Ruby da Cherry and $crim, who make up the New Orleans duo $uicideboy$, have announced dates for their popular annual Grey Day Tour in 2024. The 41-date arena and amphitheater run will begin on August 7th at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. To date, the largest and most successful Grey Day Tour will feature stops in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena, in Atlanta at the State Farm Arena, and in Chicago at the United Center Arena. The opening acts for the tour include Denzel Curry, Pouya, HAARPER, Shakewell, and Ekkstacy.
This line up for Grey Day 2024 North America includes Denzel Curry, Pouya, HAARPER, Shakewell, and Ekkstacy.
Denzel Curry
Denzel Rae Don Curry (born February 16, 1995) is an American rapper. Born and raised in Miami Gardens, Florida, Curry started rapping while in the sixth grade and began working on his first mixtape in 2011, which was influenced by underground Florida rapper SpaceGhostPurrp. The mixtape was later featured on SpaceGhostPurrp's social media, giving Curry attention in the local music scene and resulting in him joining the former’s hip-hop collective Raider Klan.
Curry left Raider Klan in 2013, releasing his debut studio album, Nostalgic 64, in September of that year, while still in high school. He has since released three extended plays: 32 Zel/Planet Shrooms in 2015, 13 in 2017, and Unlocked (a collaboration with Kenny Beats) in 2020, and four studio albums: Imperial in 2016, Ta13oo in 2018, Zuu in 2019, and Melt My Eyez See Your Future in 2022. Ta13oo, Zuu, and Melt My Eyez debuted at numbers 28, 32, and 51 on the Billboard 200 chart, respectively, with Melt My Eyez returning at number 17 after the release of an extended edition. All of his projects have garnered significant critical acclaim.
Pouya
Our old friend Kevin Pouya (born December 20, 1994), known mononymously as Pouya, is an American rapper from Miami, Florida. Considered a pioneer of the early underground rap scene that began on SoundCloud in 2012, along with discovering the well-known hip-hop duo Suicideboys in their early career, Pouya has developed a long-lasting core fanbase as an independent artist.
HAARPER
His birth name is Richard McLaughlin. He was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Rapper, hip-hop artist, musician, entertainer, performer, artist, and producer who is known for the songs "Drop It Like It's Hot!", "Wtf U Mean", "Bungee Gum", "The Alchemist", and "Some Chick Named Emma".
He began creating music in his teens. He released his first EP Lapidus EP in the year 2018. He released his first album Emeralds in the year 2019. He began collaborating with other artists in the year 2019.
Shakewell
Shakewell also shown in Grey Day 2024 in Australia and New Zealand, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is known for his unique style that combines elements of hip-hop, R&B, and soul. His music often features smooth beats and introspective lyrics that explore themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.
Shake Well first gained attention in 2016 with the release of his single "Psychic," which showcases his soulful vocals and lyrical prowess. Since then, he has released several more singles and an EP, earning a growing following in the underground hip-hop scene.
In addition to his music, Shake Well is also known for his dynamic live performances and his ability to connect with audiences through his honest and vulnerable lyrics.
Ekkstacy
Khyree Zienty, professionally known as Ekkstacy (born 2002; stylized as EKKSTACY), is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia.
Ekkstacy stated that he had a normal childhood until his parents divorced when he entered high school. He then began to struggle socially and at one point had an episode of psychosis induced by drugs in which he attempted suicide by jumping out a window. He began playing the guitar in 6th grade and enjoyed skateboarding.
Ekkstacy began creating music during high school. His music primarily involved YouTube beats, which he sang over. He released his debut EP Negative in November 2021, with the single "I Walk This Earth All by Myself" becoming what is considered to be his most popular song. He released the album Misery in September 2022, which was more rock and new-wave-inspired than his previous release.
Us Vs. Them
From the mixtapes to EPs to the proper albums, $uicideboy$ drops a lot of music, yet differentiates between them. We are just about to get one. This January, $crim released his solo LP Lonely Boy, and now $uicideboy$ are readying New World Depression, their follow-up to Sing Me A Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation from 2022, for release this summer. Today, the duo shares the first single.
'Us Vs. Them' is vintage $uicideboy$ fare: an eerie, flickering beat, evil singsong nursery rhyme hooks, and lyrics about fentanyl chewing and Percocet snorting on the lead single. It is directly inspired by the '90s underground rap of the backpack and southern mixtape variety. And, if you haven't guessed already—these cats can rap.
Us Vs. Them Lyrics
Grey Day 2024 is Coming!
As we all knew $uicideboy$ was gearing up to release their forthcoming NEW WORLD DEPRESSION LP on June 14TH through their own G59 Records, but now the NOLA rap duo have announced they'll promote the album on the 2024 edition of their annual Grey Day Tour. The latest edition of the trek will feature support from Denzel Curry, Pouya, HAARPER, Shakewell, and Ekkstacy.
The North American tour will kick off in Nashville, Tennesee, on August 7th, and run into October, closing things out at Lincoln, Nebraska's Pinnacle Bank Arena. Denzel Curry will be there for most of the trip, save a show in Tampa and a string of dates in the Pacific Northwest.
The latest tour supports $uicideboy$’ upcoming album New World Depression, due on June 14. Given the record's title, the pair have also announced that this year’s Grey Day Tour is partnered with PLUS1, and $1 per ticket will be going towards mental health causes.

Vinyl: A Timeless Medium of Musical Joy
Vinyl Records
Vinyl records have made a comeback in recent years, capturing the hearts of music lovers around the world. This classic format provides a unique and immersive listening experience that sets it apart from other media.
One of the standout features of vinyl records is their warm and rich sound quality. The analog nature of vinyl records gives the music a depth and character that is often difficult to replicate in digital formats. Each spin of the record delivers a unique analog warmth that transports listeners back to a bygone era. Although Suicideboys' music belongs to the hip-hop style of heavy metal rock, vinyl records can still give it a unique charm.
The tactile nature of vinyl is another appealing aspect. Holding the album in your hands, admiring the artwork, and flipping through the liner notes add to the overall experience. It provides a physical connection to the music that cannot be found with digital downloads or streaming.
Collecting vinyl records is a popular pastime for many. The hunt for rare and limited edition releases, as well as classic albums, can be a thrilling adventure. Building a vinyl collection becomes a labor of love, a showcase of one's musical taste and history.
Suicdeboys' Vinyl
As vinyl records become popular again, Suicideboys' vinyl cassettes have also become a hot commodity. Many people don't know where to buy them, which platform is reliable, and how much a cassette costs approximately. So let me take you through it.
Amazon
Take the two most popular albums of Suicideboys as an example. Their prices are around US$20, including free returns and exchanges. The delivery time depends on the location of delivery and delivery.
Merchbar
The price on Merchbar is slightly higher than Amazon, but Amazon’s postage is slightly more expensive.
Esty
There is also a small amount of Suicideboys vinyl purchased on Etsy, and the price is not much different from other platforms. However, after all, Etsy’s main business is selling handicraft finished products, so you need to distinguish the authenticity.
Ebay
It’s very exaggerated on eBay! Because it is an auction, some sellers will set the price unusually high, so before buying, be sure to get a rough idea of the average price of vinyl before making a decision!
In the digital age, vinyl records allow people to escape the shackles of screens and return to a more tangible and authentic music experience. It allows us to slow down and savor the sounds that shape our lives.
Whether you're a long-time vinyl collector or just discovering the medium, there's something truly special about vinyl records. Not only does it sound great, but it also provides a connection to music history and art that continues to captivate listeners of all generations.
As fans of Suicdeboys, while supporting them, we must do what we can. For collection, you don’t have to buy expensive ones, but you have to buy the album that best suits your consumption ability. Whether it is vinyl or not, it is the most important in your heart.

Tattoos of Hip-Hop Artists - A Unique Form of Self-Expression
Although greydaytour.com is about suicideboys, today I want to share with you something about tattoos.
The body is a blank canvas, and tattoos are a way of expressing oneself without words. For hip-hop artists, tattoos are not just decorations, but a means of showcasing their individuality, beliefs, and experiences. Every tattoo tells a story and holds significance, reflecting the personality, values, and journey of the hip-hop artist.
The history of tattoos can be traced back thousands of years, but in modern times, it has become a symbol of popular culture. In the hip-hop scene, tattoos play a significant role. Many well-known hip-hop artists have distinct and eye-catching tattoos.
Some hip-hop artists choose to adorn their bodies with symbolic designs such as lions, tigers, and dragons. These animal motifs often represent strength, courage, and authority. Other common designs include stars, roses, crosses, and other symbols that may convey emotions like love, faith, or specific messages.
Aside from visuals, tattoos can also feature words and phrases. Some hip-hop artists get their names, album titles, or lyrics tattooed on themselves to showcase their music and creativity. Tattoos can also serve as a means of expressing social issues, with symbols like peace signs, justice, or anti-war logos.
For hip-hop artists, tattoos are not merely a form of body adornment, but a means of self-expression and identity assertion. Through tattoos, they can showcase their unique style and personality, connecting with other hip-hop enthusiasts.
However, tattoos are a personal choice, and everyone has their motivations and reasons behind getting them. For some, tattoos may be seen as a form of artistic expression, pursuing beauty and creativity. For others, tattoos may hold deeper meaning, representing their life experiences, values, or beliefs.
It's important to note that tattoos are an invasive procedure with certain risks and health considerations. Before getting a tattoo, individuals should think carefully and ensure they choose a professional tattoo artist to minimize the risk of infection and other complications. Moreover, tattoos should be a personal choice and not be influenced by external pressures.
I hope this article provides you with some insights into the world of tattoos among hip-hop artists. If you have a specific interest in a particular hip-hop artist or tattoo, I encourage you to delve further into their work to gain a better understanding of the stories and meanings behind their tattoos.
